Gloucestershire and Somerset & Dorset Railway Photographs 1959-1975

heritagecareers

Peter Brabham will introduce the railway photographic records of John Wiltshire and Derek Chaplin , covering lines in Gloucestershire, Somerset and Dorset in the years from 1959 to 1975.

By 1975 , there was a total transformation with the closure of lines and the adoption of the diesel traction. We are fortunate that such seminal changes were documented by talented railway photographers
