Pitlochry Station Bookshop is located on Platform 1 of Pitlochry station and sells donated books for charity.
On 21st June from 10am till 4pm, we will host a specialist book sale of railway books inside the waiting room on Platform 2, with support from our partners, ScotRail, the Highland Mainline Community Rail Partnership and Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway Museum.
The book sale celebrates three birthdays in one: 200 years of the modern railway, 160 years of the Highland Railway Company and 20 years of the Pitlochry Station Bookshop. The book sale offers a great opportunity to visit our beautiful Grade A-listed Victorian station and learn more about Rail 200, the Highland Mainline and Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway Museum at the same time as buying books to raise money for the station bookshop’s six charities.
