A special programme marking Railway 200 by telling the story of how the railways came to Bedford.
The story is brought to life by readings of contemporary letters, news reports and speeches specially recorded by local volunteers, with contributions from railway YouTuber Jago Hazzard providing the big picture of how the railways developed.
The programme will be broadcast on DAB in Bedford, online at www.bedford.radio, via the Bedford Radio app and on smart speakers, on Sunday December 28th at 7pm. It will then be available to listen again on the Bedford Radio website.
