The National Railway Museum in York and its sister museum, Locomotion, in Shildon, will run a range of celebratory activities and events to celebrate Railway 200, S&DR200 and the museum’s 50th birthday. These will include the re-opening of Station Hall at the National Railway Museum, following a major refurbishment, and a summer festival at Locomotion.
Details of individual activities and events, such as when and where they will take place, will be announced at a later date.
