The 2025 Temporary Exhibition in the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum in Tywyn will mark the 200th anniversary of the Stockton & Darlington Railway with a display showing that the history of narrow-gauge railways is just as long lived, with the hopes of the original promoters fulfilled or dashed; reflecting the fortunes of the industries they served. Narrow gauge lines were equally involved in promoting engineering innovation from the beginning of the 19th Century. The Museum is open whenever trains are running on the Talyllyn Railway from February to November 2025.
