We are a group of like- minded model engineer and railway enthusiast’s who run a miniature railway as well as many other engineering based activities, situated on the outskirts of Wimborne, Dorset. We pride ourselves in operating a picturesque five inch gauge railway, along with two garden scale layouts of 16mm and gauge one.
When you visit us you can enjoy a train for approximately 1/3 of mile which takes you on a lovely journey passing a level crossing, disused halt, over a bridge and then through our wooded area before then entering a tunnel.
We are shortly due to reach the 50th year of the railway and are organising a celebration weekend.
We operate with either steam or battery electric trains usually on a Sunday the 1st or 3rd days of the month from April to October with additional days during school holidays.
