Register interest in The Partner Zone

Inspiration’s Fourth Carriage provides partners a flexible exhibition space for local storytelling and Railway 200 related activity

What’s in The Partner Zone?

The carriage is in two sections, and one half is exhibition space for partners. The carriage interior follows the same design theme as the other carriages and talks about the benefits of rail.

There is a donation point to support our charity campaign and a screen for partners to showcase local content.

It will be a fully flexible space that can be used in different ways to suit partners’ needs.

What’s included:

  • Capacity: 20 people (15.29m²)
  • Size: Length: 8.7m. Width: 2m. Height 2m
  • A wall mounted 55-inch monitor that can connect to laptops or other devices, plus a USB port.

What’s not included:

  • Furniture: Tables and chairs are not provided, partners will need to make their own arrangements
  • Nothing may be ‘stuck’ to the interior walls
  • Wi-Fi is not provided, except where access to the station’s Wi-Fi network is available.

Activity must be railway-related and support Railway 200’s four themes (Education & Skills, Culture, Heritage and Tourism, Celebrating Railway People and Innovation, Technology & Environment). The space can also be used for showcasing local railway history and communities (relating to the railway). The train must not be used as a sales space, for activities unrelated to the railway or as a private meeting space.

Partners are invited to apply for the Partner Zone as soon as possible, as we expect a high demand.  Once your application is received, it will be considered by the host location to make sure the request meets our criteria. You will be informed of the outcome. Successful applicants will be required to sign a Terms and Conditions document to ensure a safe and successful event for visitors.

The Partner Zone can be requested for a whole day (09.30-17.30) only.
