The Edenbridge walk will start from the entrance to the park opposite the end of Station Approach (to Edenbridge Town station) at 11:15.
The circular walk is approximately 6 miles and will be led by Fiona. It includes the old Edenbridge Golf Course and our previous route to Haxted Mills and the watemill there. We will return via a stop at Starborough Manor where we were hoping to see new gates replacing the old stiles (due to spare money from the Graham Butler Mile funds and the Vanguard Rambling Club), however, we are awaiting a response from Surrey CC. After a picnic stop we will return northwards up the VGW via Kent Brook and across the old grass-strip airfield to return to Edenbridge and the link to the station and a pub stop.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any trains on the Uckfield line so the suggested route is 9:25 from London Bridge to Redhill; 10:29 Redhill to Edenbridge and then walk (30 mins) to Edenbridge Town station.
If going by car, there is parking at the station or free parking at the Market Yard car park in the centre of the High Street.
