heritagefamily

A celebration of the history of the railways in Brigham in the 200th anniversary year of railways.

Little trace remains of the junction station, the narrow gauge railways of the quarries and the people who worked them, but an opportunity to see the past come alive:

1-4pm: display of the Brigham model railway and selection of Brigham related

7pm: illustrated talk by Gwyn Lishman on the history and life of the railways of Brigham.
