We are holding a Railway 200 adult talk in Ashford Library to our customers about the history of the railways specifically linked to the Ashford area. Join us to find out about all things train related! Information included will be a history of railways, from the early days through to now and beyond. The various aspects of railways including trains, signals, track, safety, politics & cross-channel services – both history and the future. The event is being held in the Kent History and Library Centre, Maidstone and you will need to book your place. It will be on Friday 7 November from 12.00 midday to 1.00pm.
