heritage

A temporary station nameboard with the prefix ‘Formerly’ – contributed by Devon & Cornwall Rail Partnership – will be unveiled on the anniversary of the line opening, showing what is now King’s Nympton’s original naming as ‘South Molton Road.’ It was changed to its present name on another 1st of a month, in March 1951. Organised by the Northern Devon Railway Development Alliance in collaboration with the Friends of King’s Nympton Station, to be attended by local council representatives and the North Devon MP.
