Our project aims to create an engaging and educational photography display across various railway stations. This display will feature historical and contemporary photographs capturing the scenic beauty, architectural marvels, and the cultural significance of the railway network.
We wish to engage the local community across the area to explore the full potential of the railway network and links in our area.
The project is to encourage a range of commuters, local groups and organisations to engage fully with the railway by developing a series of photographic exhibitions at the stations – ‘Down the Line’ from Swindon, Chippenham, Melksham, Trowbridge, Westbury, Dilton Marsh and Warminster.
We will have different age range categories, prizes in each group and digital exhibitions on the TransWilts, The Arts Society, The Arts Society Kington Langley websites as well as physical display boards in each of the stations.
