Friends of Alnmouth Station have been making the station a green gateway to North Northumberland since 2010. To celebrate, and to mark Railway 200, we invite everyone to an open event at the station where you can meet our team of volunteers, representatives from Northern and Aln Valley Railway.
Activities will include:
Guided tours of our planting schemes.
Plants for free – how to take herb cuttings.
Aln Valley Railway – history of Alnmouth Station and plans for developing the branch line from Alnwick.
Plant stall (cash only).
Please note, the event will run from 11 am to 1 pm, southbound car park.
