Lancing Railway Heritage Blue Plaque Trail

This year the nation celebrates railways being 200 years old. There are 200 blue plaques across the south east remembering those who worked on the railways and have served in conflicts. The Sussex Coast Blue Plaque project commemorates people past and present that have worked along the railway line. In Lancing, Keep Lancing Lovely put forward the names of six local people and all have been remembered with a blue plaque. A leaflet, available from the station in Lancing, gives but only a brief introduction about each of the people. More information is available at each display location. There are a total of five locations in Lancing where you can visit the plaques and find out some information about these individuals.
