Throughout our Vintage Week, and on our Victorian Sundays in August, our unique vintage train of 4- and 6- wheeled carriages dating from Victorian times will be one of the trains in action meaning visitors can see and travel on three contrasting historic trains.
Two of our powerful steam locomotives will be in action, one hauling the vintage train and a second pulling a train of restored carriages dating from the 1950s and 60s. A heritage railcar dating from the 1960s will also be running, allowing passengers to enjoy a driver’s-eye view and savour panoramic views of the delightful countryside, much of which is designated as being of outstanding natural beauty.
