We are offering to present ‘On track for a greener future’ to rail enthusiast, environmental or historical groups and similar organisations in south-west Wales.
This is a one-hour power-point presentation with group discussion, based on a pilot presentation made to Swansea Vale Rail Society in March 2025. We propose the use of Railway 200 logos and brand guidelines to frame the presentation.
The presentation shows how and why present-day rail travel offers cleaner, greener and more user-friendly transportation making rail a preferred mode of mobility today. It links with Railway 200’s first key theme and shows how, during 200 years of train travel, technical and other innovations have improved to meet the needs of travellers in south Wales.
Timing and venues
A total of six afternoon or evening presentations will be offered, subject to diary availability, from Monday to Saturday between September and October 2025.
On request, at suitable locations, including libraries, hotels, church and other halls. Suitable administrative arrangements will be agreed before presentations will be delivered.
