To celebrate Railway 200, the Barton Cleethorpes Community Rail Partnership will kick off a Railway 200 Art Competition on 14 December. Children will be asked to create images of trains from the past and present. On completion of these, we will ask the children how they think trains will change in the future and they will draw their ideas. This competition will continue in January and February at three local primary schools, and the winners of the competition will see their art reproduced and displayed at stations along the line.
The event is open to all local children.
Entries can be submitted by post, email or in person at community events such as Santa Special, on 14 December – further details to follow shortly on our website.
