Join the Railway Benefit Fund (RBF) Million Step Team Challenge, launching in May, perfectly timed with National Walking Month. It’s your chance to boost your fitness, celebrate the remarkable Railway 200 anniversary, and support our railway charity.

Your mission? A four-person team will collectively conquer one million steps throughout the month – that’s just over 8,000 steps a day each. You will also see your progress on a leaderboard with the other organisations taking part.

The exciting virtual route begins at the historic Euston Station and culminates in the Northeast, the very birthplace of passenger rail. You’ll virtually retrace the groundbreaking 26-mile path of the original first passenger railway from Stockton to Shildon via Darlington – a journey that forever changed the world.

The challenge starts on 1 May and teams are £400.

This key fundraising event for our railway charity allows us to continue to support railway people going through tough times.
