As part of YRP’s Rail Week, YRP Wales are celebrating the start of Railway 200 with a seminar at Cardiff University’s historic Glamorgan Building.
Join us for an evening with three guest speakers, which will then be followed by a cold finger buffet for reflection and networking opportunities to see out the rest of the evening.
Dr Louise Moon, Heritage & Sustainable Impact Manager at Transport for Wales will talk about what TfW is doing in the heritage space.
James Bennett, Timetable and Stabling Scenario Manager at Transport for Wales and YRP’s Annual Dinner Lead, will cover the legacy of the railways in Wales.
Colin Lea, Planning and Performance Director at TfW Rail, will speak about the challenges the Railway Heritage Designation Board face in the preservation of railway heritage in the modern day.
Doors at 6pm for a 6:30pm start. Food will be served at approx. 8pm.
