Our next public running day is Sunday 28th September. It is a special weekend as enthusiasts across the country will be celebrating Railway200 – the 200 year anniversary of the modern railway.
In 1825 the Stockton & Darlington Railway opened for steam-hauled passenger services, so we have decided to run a steam only day to commemorate the 200 years since the very first public railway journey!
