Returning once again to the Barrow Hill Roundhouse, The Yorkshire Garden Railway Show will this year be held on the 27th September, 200 years to the day since the first steam passenger service! What better way could there be to spend that 200-year anniversary, than stood amongst a number of locos who were once the beating heart of the British Railway network. All while watching (Or buying) fantastic garden railway models being showcased around the Roundhouse.
We’ve got an action packed show this year, with several layouts and traders, covering a wide range of the garden railway hobby. The Roundhouse itself will also have lots of attractions on offer too.
We’re also doing our bit to celebrate 200 years of railways, as part of the #Railway200 events. By holding our very own live steam 200 wheels (Or more) cavalcade on a single layout. This will be quite the sight to see and not something to be missed.
