A Railway History in Art & Exhibition By Wrenford J. Thatcher

To celebrate Railway 200 in West Norfolk the West Norfolk and King’s Lynn Archaeological Society are organising a unique railway art afternoon at the former dock-side and rail freight warehouse of Marriott’s Warehouse Trust, South Quay, King’s Lynn Norfolk PE30 5DT. The well known Norfolk-based railway artist Wrenford J. Thatcher will give an illustrated public lecture entitled “A Railway History in Art” and exhibit a selection of his atmospheric and majestic paintings. The event is on Sunday, 14th December 2025 with doors open at 2:00pm, on the second floor, Fred Hall Room. The event will close at 5:00pm.

Tickets:
Tickets are purchased at the door: Archaeological Society Members – £10:00 and Non-Archaeological Society Members – £12:00. Ticket’s include, a seat for Wrenford’s presentation, access to the exhibition and Cheese and Wine or other non-alcoholic drink.
