The Gauge O Guild runs monthly seminars online via Zoom, to promote modelling in 7mm scale, with a variety of contributors and subjects, for members and non-members alike, both in the UK and overseas. On Friday 26th September, Nigel Paine, in Slovakia, is doing a session specific to carriages from the Stockton & Darlington Railway as a celebration of 200 years since the birth of the modern railway. In Nigels own words “Let’s Celebrate! The Stockton & Darlington Railway opened on 27th September 1825 giving birth to the modern railway. On the bi-centenary eve see how Nigel used multi-media modelling techniques to create an 1871 S&DR Smoking Carriage.”
