A small display of 19 railway photos by members of Sevenoaks Camera Club shown in Otford Station’s Gallery. Earliest are from the 1970s, including a triptych of a 1978 trip to commemorate railway photographer Eric Treacy, known as “The Railway Bishop”. Most pictures are more recent and include both mainline and heritage scenes. Rail subjects are a favourite of many photographers and our members contributed a few of their favourite prints to help celebrate the anniversary.
The Gallery is in the station building and so only available when the building itself is open. Thus the display is mainly aimed at users of Otford station, and is actively supported by the Friends of Otford Station.
