Society of Genealogists are celebrating Railway 200 with a look at our ancestors who worked on the railways in April 2025. We have planned three related online talks.
On 8th April 2025 at 2pm The Genealogist at the Society of Genealogists, Else Churchill will be detailing the “Railway Collections at SoG and Elsewhere” relevant to family history. This talk is free.
On 10th April at 2pm Paul Stanford will be presenting his talk “From Chocolate to Cider 160 years of family railway history” and finally on 26th April at 10:30am genealogist Gemma Ward will be explaining the tricks to “Finding Your Railway Ancestors”.
