Biggleswade Mural for Railway 200

heritagefamily

The Mural was designed by the community, led by Rose Hill (Artist), during a workshop on the 200th anniversary day, 27th September 2025.

It celebrates Railway 200 and Biggleswade local history including links with trains back to 1850 when the train station was opened.

It also has Rose Hills famous colour style, and some activities to interest children. The mural is 6 plates 8ft long covering a 50ft wall, which was previously covered in graffiti.

It is always available and open to be observed for free.

There will be a copy in a nearby playground in Mill lane called franklins , very soon.

The mural was sponsored by Govia Thameslink, and produced by Rose Hill, Mural Artist of Co-CreativeConnections.
