Liverpool St station – Railway Photography/History Exhibition & Rail Careers Instagram Competition

heritagecareersfamily

To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the railway, Liverpool St station is unveiling an exclusive new Landscape Photographer of the Year exhibition. For many years, the winning photos from this competition have been shown at Network Rail managed stations as part of a nationwide tour. The new display at Liverpool Street will, for the first time, be made up of entirely railway photography.

An exhibition on the history of Liverpool Street, originally put together for the station’s 150th birthday last year, is being relaunched for Railway 200 and will be available to view.

To look ahead at the next 200 years, visitors will be able to have some fun becoming the railway stars of the future with “end of the pier” style cut outs of a number of exciting railway jobs such as signallers, maintenance technicians flying drones and train drivers. Post your photo of yourself with these cut outs tagging our Network Rail Eastern Instagram feed and you could be in with a chance of winning a station retail voucher.

Come and see it all on the upper balcony next to Leon restaurant. Exhibition will be on site until Autumn 2025.
