The GREEN VALLEY RAILWAY ‘The Edroy Garden Line’ O Gauge Garden Model Railway. Set in a suburban rear garden this extensive O Gauge Garden Railway were visitors to the Autumn 🍂 Gala Open Weekend with light refreshments can by a voluntary donation to charity enjoy watching a variety of trains travelling around the whole garden with its 5 1/2 scale miles of track along with stations, goods yard, tunnel, harbour and full size exhibits, including the Full Size Eastleigh Ground Frame E Signal Box where you can see and have a go at being a Signalman. Pulling the signal levers to operating the Signals and ring out the bell codes. In this special year of marking and celebrating 200 years of train travel the GREEN VALLEY RAILWAY has in its own unique way contributed and brought the story of the last 200 years of Railways to life, through its previous & highly successful Spring & Summer Gala Open Weekends with record numbers of visitors of all ages attending and enjoying there time at the railway. Since the railway was established back in 1988 we have constantly continued to build and expand the railway and even in its 37th year we continue to do so as a model railway is never finished! We have and will continue to support the work of The Children’s Society & the local Church of Holy Cross, Motspur Park equally by the many generous donations given by our visitors at our Gala Open Weekends. Building on the success of this special year of celebrations we look forward to next years 2026 season.
