“Ferrovie in Miniatura” is back with the sixth edition, an appointment with model railway workers who will exhibit their works at the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa, from October 31 to November 2, 2025.
During the holiday weekend, scale models of trains of various sizes and railway plastic models that reproduce landscapes crossed by the tracks with great realism, can be admired in the pavilions of the Museum Pole of the FS Foundation.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Italian Federation of Railway Model Makers, will be enriched by numerous initiatives that will involve visitors. In addition, it will be possible to participate at the scheduled workshops to deepin the knowledge of model railways, and for the little ones there will be train-themed activities and workshops.
For the entire duration of the event it will be possible to visit the rich collection of historic rolling stock of the Museum and take part in the extra activities offered by the museum site, such as the virtual journey of the Bayard Locomotive and the panoramic ride on the “Bayardino” train, or join the guided tours.
