Between 6th and 20th May we will lead a series of morning workshops in the 14 classrooms. The children, working in groups of 3, will be guided to build their model railway stations. The project provides materials free. The workshops will be supported by STEM Ambassadors from Stantec, Ridge+Co Mott Macdonald, Enerveo and Network Rail.
After the morning workshop the children are asked to choose a model to represent them in an interschool competition. On 5th June, in the Brunel Boardroom Breakout Room, a panel of experts will meet to assess the models against set criteria and identify the top three, but more of that on another post.
