Commemoration of the last goods train to leave Petworth Station on 20th May 1966. (The last passenger was on the 7th February 1955.) We will have a display giving a brief history of the Mid-Sussex Railways.
We will have model railway layouts including a ‘have a go at driving’ layout. Look round the site of a former flour mill that had grain delivered from the nearby station and see the working waterwheel driven beam pump that formerly pumped water to Petworth that is 1.5 miles away.
Our Pop-Up Coffee Shop will be open and we will have children’s craft in the warehouse.
